It brings us great joy to announce two of our most loved flavours have each scooped a Gold Star at this years prestigious 2016 Great Taste Awards by The Guild of Fine Food. The judges, from all corners of the food world, blind-tasted our product and here’s what they had to say about our Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie Peanut Butter Gelato “Very appealing idea and an alluring appearance. There are some wonderful textures going on: a lovely crunch from the peanut butter, chunks of brownie and smooth ice cream.
The flavours are very well layered and deliver a lovely balance, not too sweet. There is a rich cocoa taste as well that gives the ice cream even more depth. Really enjoyable and quality ingredients used”.
Our Pistacchio Speciale Siciliano was also a hit with the judges: “Wow – lovely stuff. Great contrast in consistency and good Pistacchio, nice looking swirl of wafer and plenty of nuts”. Carmelo Gristina our Head Gelatiere and Director commented “My team and I are delighted to have won these awards, the comments and praise we received from the judges on our products gives us the motivation to create even more quality flavours that our customers can continue to enjoy.
